Hosted Tournaments

Each fall, together with Irvine High School, the WHS Entertainment Corps cohosts the annual Irvine Invitational Field Tournament, followed in one to two weeks by the CSBC Division Finals. Member teams from the Southern California School Band & Orchestra Association, as well as the California State Band Championships circuit come together to compete in this terrific events.

Our hosted tournaments are the largest fundraising activity of the competition season for the WHS Entertainment Corps. Students are asked to sell at least one ad or personal message to be displayed in the tournament program.

The support of our amazing music community is what makes IIFT and CSBC Division Finals tremendously successful! The contribution of your time and resources are greatly appreciated; and many volunteers are needed to help with setup, group check-in, ticket sales, entry, concessions, and clean-up.

Program Ads

ALL ADS DUE BY FRIDAY, OCTOBER 11th

This year‘s 29th Annual Irvine Invitational Field Tournament will be held at Irvine High School Stadium on Saturday, November 2nd. We are looking forward to a fantastic event with students participating from local high schools throughout southern California.

The Irvine Invitational Field Tournament is one of our largest fundraisers benefiting the WHS Entertainment Corps. We would appreciate your participation for this year’s show by purchasing or selling ad space for the Field Tournament Program booklet. This program provides the schedule for the day, competitors’ information and pictures, and advertising.

100% of the funds collected from the sale of these ads go directly to the WHS Entertainment Corps and the ensemble of your student contact.

Our goal is for every member of the Entertainment Corps to sell or purchase at least one, one-eighth (1/8) page ad. A personalized ad mentioning your student can make a nice keepsake too.

The Irvine Invitational Field Tournament Program is used throughout the event as a tournament field guide. The program is the only place to find the schedule of the day, and has the potential to reach hundreds of South Orange County families.

All ads placed in the IIFT program booklet will also be included in the booklet for CSBC Division Finals on Saturday, November 16th.

We would love everyone’s participation in placing and acquiring ads to ensure this year’s performing arts program is a success!
